Spring is here and so is the PCS (Permanent Change of Station) season for our Folks in the United States Military. So...if you are looking to sell or rent out your home...now is the time to give me a call Each year the military moves about 600,000 members, with more than 1/3 of those moving in the 4 month timeframe between Memorial Day and Labor Day. In 2010, the military processed 230,000 moves just between Memorial Day and Labor Day which ammounted to about 38% of the total annual moves for the entire year. In 2011, the number of moves is expected to increase by 10,000 due to the base realignment and closure process and the Colorado Springs area is home to 5 vital and 3 growing military bases...Fort Carson, Peterson Air Force Base, Schriever Air Force Base, The U.S. Air Force Academy and NORAD.
