These are most often smaller companies of one Independent Broker or a few broker associates working under an employing broker. Independent Brokers can often offer several advantages over the "Warehouse/Big Box/Team Brokerages" when it comes to more personalized service and innovative ideas with regards to buying or selling your home. Often Independent Brokers have a great deal of experience, education and entrepenurial spirit. Most of the brokers in this type of brokerage choose to do 50 or less transaction "sides" in a year giving them the ability to deal more directly with, provide more personalized service, advise and respond more timely to their clients.
